About Me

I know you always hear the typical “I’ve loved art for as long as I could hold a pencil” line, but for me, it wasn’t about loving it, it was about finally being the best at something. Sports were never my thing; neither were instruments or any of the other hobbies kids my age were into. But you give me a pencil or a paintbrush, and I can capture everyone’s attention. For me, art started as a way of proving to myself that I could be the best at something and that I was talented in some way, and then I fell in love with it. That drive took me to after school programs starting in 4th grade, through Noe Middle School’s GA Art Program, to duPont Manual High School’s Visual Arts program, and then into the Arts program at Western Kentucky University where I graduated with degrees in Art Education and Graphic Design.

My works have received Scholastic Art Awards and have been featured in various exhibitions in multiple museums in Louisville, KY including the Frazier and KMAC. You can also find my murals or artworks on various barns, church walls, buildings, sheds, and school walls throughout Louisville, Hardinsburg, Bowling Green, and Meade County, KY. I have a wide variety of artistic capability including the use of pencil, pen & ink, and charcoal drawings, ceramics, printmaking, wood burning, textiles, watercolor and acrylic painting, photography, and graphic design. However, I currently specialize in large scale murals, mixed media paintings, and graphic design. I typically don’t spend much of my time creating artworks for myself, instead I find my love for art comes from seeing my customers reactions to a finished product. I pride myself in the fact that I work very hard to ensure that every client is happy with their final product.
